Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I choose the Wayfarers’ Learning Center? What sets you apart?

Short answer? We’re content experts and learning experts. You’ll learn the content and how to learn. We’ll save you time and energy in the short term, but ultimately our goal is for you to not need us.

Long answer? Quite frankly, we care about our students as humans first. Don’t get us wrong, most tutors do—but we emphasize a holistic approach to learning. It’s not just about the content. It’s about the skills, habits, and mindsets we develop as learners that can carry us through any and all future learning.

We focus on getting to know our students and the ins and outs of how they learn. We’ll work with you to identify patterns in the types of mistakes you make, develop learning and problem-solving strategies that work for your brain, and help you build confidence in your ability to learn.

We work hard to identify where you are in your learning so that we can fill in the gaps (whether you don’t remember, or you never learned it). There’s no judgement here—only support. We don’t care how “intelligent” you are. If you’re willing to work hard, we know you can learn.

Start where you are, and we’ll help you get where you need to be.
